Entrepreneurship Day Elevator Pitch Forum Signup

 
SORRY WE HAVE REACHED OUR CAPACITY- How much Is your idea Worth $$$??   Entrepreneurship day attendees are invited to participate in our first ever "Elevator Pitch Forum" providing you the opportunity to discuss your ideas with "angel investors" and "venture capitalists" who might want to invest in your start-up business. Participation is free, altough you must provide your own display material.

Here's how it works:  We will supply you with either a poster hanging area or a small seating area (please choose when registering below).  Your company name and short description will also be published in a special directory provided to Entrepreneurship Day attendees.  During the Elevator Pitch time,  attendees (including several angel investors and venture capitalists) will visit the "booths" of interest.  The rest will be up to you to make your best pitch!! We are planning for apx 38 - 40 booths at the event.

To deliver an effective pitch is an essential skill that's critical for any entrepreneur. Your elevator pitch does not necessarily require extensive preparation and should not be intimidating. Anyone with a good ideal or concept can pitch. Our goal is simple - to facilitate networking. There will be many people in the room who can help your business. They can only find you if they know what you do!

Hints: Try to practice a two minute pitch before the event. If using a poster, use this as a visual aid for your pitch. If in a seating area, you are free to use a laptop for slides or a demonstration (sorry, we will not be providing power - be sure your laptop battery is charged). You are also allowed to provide a small take-away, perhaps a printed brochure, business card, etc.  Posters can be mounted to a foam board (no wider than 30") or you can use individual letter size pages.  You can fit apx 8 sheets.

Absolutely no selling of product will be allowed! We are providing this forum to help you grow your business - not to sell books, gym memberships, socks, etc.
